Does AutoCAD cost too much?

Many have complained about the high price of AutoCAD. I hear so many folks who are just fed up with the pricing of AutoCAD releases, upgrades and so on.

    Yes, I feel that the prices that they charge for Auto CAD is way too high. I am a newly graduated CAD student and I would love to have a real copy of Auto CAD but how can I afford to drop at least 1000.00 for the program, that is stupid. Autodesk would probibly sell a lot more if they lowered the price, but what do I know.
