They typically do not work for the CAD Manager but are involved beyond the level of CAD User.  They will help you define and review the docs and standards you create.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list that I have used to outline the duties and responsibilities that I would expect from someone taking on this role.<\/p>\n<p>CAD Standards<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, Refine and Maintain the CAD standard<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback on the CAD Standards<\/li>\n<li>Police the CAD files on projects<\/li>\n<li>Keep their eyes and ears open for problems<\/li>\n<li>Help in defining and refining the standard methods of production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Communications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Speak openly and professionally<\/li>\n<li>Seek to understand what others are suggesting<\/li>\n<li>Have an open mind<\/li>\n<li>Assist in documenting processes<\/li>\n<li>Pass on information gathered at CAD Standards meetings to their office\/department<\/li>\n<li>Bring back ideas from their office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Training<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train others in your Office in the use of the Standard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Miscellaneous<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help Create custom tools<\/li>\n<li>Set up standard methods of production<\/li>\n<li>Test the methods proposed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are some general items that the CAD Standard reviewer will oversee.
