Not Read<\/strong><\/p>\n Your users are not reading your CAD Standard.\u00a0 They may have never read it, or they may not have read it recently.\u00a0\u00a0 You take the time to write it, print it, publish it, and distribute it— but no one reads it.\u00a0 It is useless because people do not know what is in there.<\/p>\n Avoiding this trouble:<\/strong><\/p>\n Make sure that everyone has a copy.\u00a0 You may have done so when it was first published,but what about new hires.\u00a0 Do they have a copy?<\/p>\n Hold training classes on it.\u00a0 Actually provide training in your standard.\u00a0 Tell people what is in there.\u00a0 Go over it one page at a time.\u00a0 Tell them what and why you selected each standard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Another issue that will render your standard pretty much useless when you may think it is not.
