If you need a read receipt, then use it on individual emails only.\u00a0 I do this when I want to know if people have actually opened the email.\u00a0 This is still not a guarantee that they have read it.\u00a0\u00a0 Most email clients have a\u00a0 way of setting it so that you donot automatically send a read receipt.<\/p>\n<p>In Outlook &#8211; go to Tools &gt; Options &gt; Email Options &gt; Tracking Options to get the dialog box below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/email1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-690\" title=\"email1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/email1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"444\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/email1.jpg 444w, https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/email1-285x300.jpg 285w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 444px) 100vw, 444px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t overly set emails as high priority or urgent when you send them, some people may have lots of emails to deal with.\u00a0\u00a0 I tend to overuse the &#8220;exclaimation point&#8221; from time to time.\u00a0 And don&#8217;t use the words URGENT or IMPORTANT in the subject line of an email as if you expect an instant reply.
