{"id":3053,"date":"2013-08-07T05:05:33","date_gmt":"2013-08-07T12:05:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/?p=3053"},"modified":"2013-08-06T18:22:59","modified_gmt":"2013-08-07T01:22:59","slug":"your-leadership-disposition-structure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/2013\/08\/your-leadership-disposition-structure\/","title":{"rendered":"Your Leadership Disposition \u2013 Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"seriesmeta\">This entry is part 5 of 8 in the series <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/series\/leadership-dispositions\/\" class=\"series-76\" title=\"Leadership Dispositions\">Leadership Dispositions<\/a><\/div><p>I am changing the flow of these posts in mid stream &#8211; sorry.\u00a0 I realized that I wanted to define the disposition prior to seeing how it plays out in your leadership style.\u00a0 So with that in mind, here is the next one.<\/p>\n<p>Those that are disposed to a Structure oriented leadership will display the following attributes:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Look to improve structure &#8211; define the organizational setup and workflow.\u00a0 They are in tune with how the org chart sets up proper decision making trees and how the undocumented org chart (the one that really defines who decides what) impacts the day in and day out choices that are made.\u00a0 Process and Procedure are their playground.<\/p>\n<p>2. Look to create structure &#8211; if one is missing.\u00a0 They desire to have something defined as to who does what and where the decision points are.\u00a0 They seek to lay out the flow of work and how processes are managed.\u00a0 They need to know who &#8220;owns&#8221; a certain function or initiative.<\/p>\n<p>3. Look to stay within the defined structure.\u00a0 If there is a process or procedure, they will follow it &#8211; or change it.\u00a0 They want to know how things are reviewed, defined and implemented so they can work within the guidelines.\u00a0 They color inside the lines.<\/p>\n<p>4.
