{"id":2377,"date":"2011-04-19T20:23:26","date_gmt":"2011-04-20T03:23:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/?p=2377"},"modified":"2011-04-19T21:53:24","modified_gmt":"2011-04-20T04:53:24","slug":"working-with-teams-the-personalities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/2011\/04\/working-with-teams-the-personalities\/","title":{"rendered":"Working with Teams &#8211; the Personalities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Teams have Personalities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It takes some time to get to know your team members.\u00a0 Take the time  to listen actively to what is being said and who is saying what.\u00a0 Active  listening takes effort.\u00a0 You are just no listening for what is said,  but also for what is not being said.\u00a0 Listen to see the following:\u00a0 Who  speaks first and last.\u00a0 Who gets quiet when others speak.\u00a0 Who  participates and who does not and when they are doing each.\u00a0 Who  continues to restate their point even if others are not listening. Who  is trying to summarize. Who is working to achieve unity.\u00a0 Who is  stubborn.<\/p>\n<p>By actively listening you can quickly figure out who will work with  you, how they will contribute and who will put up roadblocks.\u00a0 You will  learn how to work with each of them to avoid the negatives that they may  bring.\u00a0 You can approach each person or topic using the flexible and  creative styles that you may have in your talent mix.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t go in with one way of getting things done.
