Aubin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paul Aubin has outdone himself.\u00a0 This is one of the most comprehensive collections of Conceptual discussion, practical tutorials, reference material and tips that I have seen in a while.\u00a0 Over 830 pages packed with information that is valuable to any user at any level.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1003\" title=\"Mastering Revit 2010\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Mastering-Revit-2010-232x300.jpg\" alt=\"Mastering Revit 2010\" width=\"232\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Mastering-Revit-2010-232x300.jpg 232w, https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Mastering-Revit-2010.jpg 461w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 232px) 100vw, 232px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Filled with ample screen shots of every aspect of the Revit platform, you will find this book to be one of the best examples of how to do it right.<\/p>\n<p>The Quick Start first chapter is an overview that gets you started quick &#8211; DO NOT SKIP THIS.\u00a0 New Users should not skip this chapter.\u00a0 It will get you started and over the initial hump of intimidation of the software. \u00a0\u00a0 This is followed by an in depth conceptual look at BIM and Revit.\u00a0 Do not skip this chapter either.\u00a0 In your excitement to get to the meat of a topic, you may be tempted to skim over these early chapters.\u00a0 You will miss something that may improve your Revit expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Chapter Two delves into the user interface.\u00a0 2010 was a major rework of the interface and many may have concerns.\u00a0 Aubin strives to alleviate these concerns with many screen shots.<\/p>\n<p>Chapter Two introduces the many Manager Notes that help those who are overseeing Revit.\u00a0 These are scattered throughout the book and offer Mr.\u00a0 Aubin years of learning in quick tips for the Managers.<\/p>\n<p>The TIPS and NOTES that are scattered throughout the book are very timely and valuable.\u00a0 For the advanced users, you could just skim the book for these tips as a reminder.<\/p>\n<p>The contents of the book lay out a progressive process of approaching a project.\u00a0 Aubin never loses sight that the whole Model development is focused on avoiding problems and getting the project out the door.\u00a0 It marches toward the final section of the book, which is pointed at developing Construction Documents.<\/p>\n<p>DVD files enclosed with the book give you all the tutorial data sets so you can begin immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Free with the purchase of the book is a CADSmart Evaluation &#8211; actually two.\u00a0 One can\u00a0 be taken prior to reading the book and one after to see how you have taken the contents in.<\/p>\n<p>The overall choices of layout, fonts, screenshots and more make this very easy to read and to apply.\u00a0 Kudos to DELMAR for the efforts they have taken to make this book readable.\u00a0 The Appendix are worth the price of the book.<\/p>\n<p>You need this book on your shelf.<\/p>\n<p>Buy the book from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caddmanager.com\/CMB\/books\/\">my bookstore<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mastering Revit Architecture 2010 &#8211; Paul F.
