Tools I Use...

Okay - lets have a look at some of the tools I use.

Sure I use AutoCAD 2006 products, and Revit (my forte is in the AEC arena), but what else is on my desktop or in my Start Menu.

Here is a list of the tools that I find handy, easy to use, productive and sometimes free.

CAD: AutoCAD 2006, ADT 2006, ABS 2006, Revit Building 8, Microstation V8, CADDalog maker (out of business)

3D: 3ds max, VIZ, Sketchup

Graphics: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks

Printing/Plotting: Bluebeam Pushbutton PDF for AutoCAD (www.bluebeam.com)

Hardware:  Dell Precision M60 Laptop, Xerox 8850 plotter, HP1055cm, HP5000

USB Drive: PNY Attaché - 512M

Instant Messenger: Trillian

Collaboration Tools: Buzzsaw, Citadon

Utilities: Treesize Pro, WS-FTP Pro, WinZIP, Quick File Rename V1.2a (free if you can find it)

Cheap Tools: VuePrint (www.hamrick.com) a small cheap tool for viewing images that I have used for years.  Not the best, but I am just use to it.

Contact Database: ACT

Office Suite: Microsoft

Web Browser: Mozilla Firefox (and proud of it)

Web Development: FrontPage, Dreamweaver

Web Hosting: www.1and1.com

Blogging: blogger
