		<description>I agree with your comment about it &quot;costing&quot; you your time.  If the firm is only providing training on your time, then they are failing to see the value of instruction.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I would encourage firms to provide Lunch and Learn only as supplemental training.</description>

		<description>The lunch isn&#039;t free, it is requiring an hour of my unpaid time.  Yes I understand the need for training but to show how important it is it should be done on company time.  I worked at one firm where HR eliminated the L&amp;L because it was an implied mandatory meeting with no compensation.</description>

		<description>We only let the bosses hand out the free lunch tickets and charge the lunch costs back to that department. That keeps out people who are only peripheral users of the tool. But it makes the bosses feel good that they have gotten their staff trained for cheap.</description>
