I have AutoCAD2006 running on Windows 7 Professional and Windows Vista Home Premium. With Vista, you have to set the setup files to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP Sp3. With Windows 7, you have to enable the hidden Administrator account and install it and run it in this account. You also have to set the install file to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP Sp3. Once it is installed in either version of Windows (Vista or 7) the exe file must be set to compatibility mode for Windows XP Sp3. I don't use AutoCAD that much, so I wouldn't be able to tell you much about any errors that might show up in either installation. However, I haven't seen any in the few times that I have used the program.
